September in Crested Butte

September is my favorite time to hike in Crested Butte! The sun is warm, the air is crisp, and the colors are amazing! If you are looking for a trail to see awesome fall colors check out Horse Ranch Park Loop. This is one of my top fall picks! Another fun favorite is a day trip to Paonia over Kebler Pass to Orchard Valley Farms and Black Bridge Winery. In September, you can pick your own peaches, apples, and nectarines, taste a little wine and purchase yummy treats.

Vail announced plans for the 2020-2021 season. While this has caused some concerns, I feel lucky to live in Crested Butte during this time and am hopeful Crested Butte will not have issues that might be expected at some of the busier resorts.
