April in Crested Butte

Last month brought lots and lots of snow for a total of 326” this season! The town is beginning to shut down for the off-season and while the calendar says spring it doesn’t quite feel like it yet with more snow on the way.

March 2023 Market Snapshot

The number of properties sold for March 2023 is DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY compared to March 2022. Average sales prices are down for single family homes, and have increased for townhomes, condos and lots. The number of days on market for SOLD properties has increased for single family homes, remained steady for townhomes and condos, and decreased for land. Well priced turn key, rentable condos still seem to be moving quickly. While the market is continuing to normalize I am also seeing slightly more negotiating power for Buyers.
