Despite moving a little slower, the real estate market in Crested Butte is holding strong. The number of properties SOLD for September 2023 was up by 22% compared to September 2022. Prices were also up in ALL categories. Days on market did increase in ALL categories. There are currently 73 Pending properties, down from the beginning of last month, but to be expected as we move into our off-season.

While interest rates remain higher, I believe it is still a good time for Buyers to get the property they want without the competition and over asking sales prices we have seen in recent years. I have spoken to so many Buyers who are waiting for interest rates to go down. Based on the many conversations I have had, I expect if interest rates drop there will be a significant increase in Buyer demand.
